Same species, correct name is Orangehead Tapajos

Very nice colors. Good looking Heckelii! Fun to watch these guys develope their threads on the fin.

Watch some videos on youtube of geos and you'll see They gather substrate(sand or small gravel) in their mouth and sift through it for various types of food; spitting out anything that is not edible.

heres my Geophagus dicrozoster. hes an aggressive little bugger. hes holding his own with 3 large oscars, 2 convicts, a jack dempsey and a green terror. the last picture is him fighting with the female convict over a territory. he has amazing colors then but its hard to see him under the rock.
