You and me both, but I guarantee that I'd find some room lol. I want to set up 2 more 55g asap. I only know one personin the us with these guys, got a group of 8. He brought them back with him from Germany.

So now he's got to just get them to breed. I'm guessing they're easy to breed but that a complete geuss

Here is my red head tapjo. I bought 5 in December 2012. Right now in a 55g. Im surprised they are growing so slow and still no red on any. They are getting pretty iridescent colors on their tails. This is my first experience w them. Do they grow slow and when does red show up? uploadfromtaptalk1376679717923.jpg

Yea they grow that slow and by their size it looks like you should start seeing color soon

The 2 larger ones are about 2 inches lol. They are so funny aggression is spread evenly every one rushes everyone off all day long lol. They are so cocky at feeding time they get the uarus mad and dart off just outta reach.

They never bother anyone else i have 2 small keyholes and an apisto.

I see some gill displays and body slapping is that challenging or flirting? Such busy bodys!

Yeah I'm sure he will breed them but these are F1 already so the babies they have will be F2 and I want to breed them myself and breeding F2 aren't going to be a good idea, genes will be weaker. Ill just wait for F1 or hopefully wilds to come around.
