Quick question everbody
Would my redhead tapajos be ok with black sand?
Do you anybody know that petsmart national geographic sand?
I got a bag of black sand

They few times I've seen Tapajos orangeheads (which is what I assume you mean) over black sand, they seemed very dark and washed out. They certainly seem to be one of the species that looks better over lighter, natural sand.

Were both sold as bandits
I'm no expert on Guianacara (Bandits), but those two do appear to have different markings... question: the one with the mid-lateral spot, rather than the bar, does it have a black splotch on the first few rays of the dorsal, like the one that has the mid-lateral bar?

What I recall is that with these fish the splotch on the dorsal is a good way to tell which species it is because only a couple of them have it.
