Anyone want to venture a guess as to the sex of mine? I keep going back and fourth. Vent looks female, and there is a dark dorsal. The green face and spangling on the fins is a male trait though. Nice fish all. I'll be happy either way.

It's about 4.5".

The irredecent splangling certainly suggest's male, yet it would not suprise if this one turn's out female. It seem's to have the body structure of a female.

Shocked me when he offered. Didn't want to part with her, but for what I got for her a bought a nice used 75 gallon with, top, stand, lights, gravel, fluval 305, two whisper 60's, a marineland 200, 3 stealth 250 watt heaters, an air pump, 3 pieces of fake wood for the tank, gravel, backdrops, a 55 gallon with top and lights, a 12 inch blackbelt, and an 11 inch Green Terror! Can't say as if I didn't do okay there.

Oh, ofcourse. Exellent deal for yourself, yet i'd imagine he'd be thinking, "What the **** was i thinking!" I know i would, yet i wouldn't pay that no matter how much i wanted the fish. They are quite simply not worth that much, no matter how you look at it.

They're not worth that kind of money but sometimes highrollers have lots of money and don't mind spending it on things they really like. I recently sold my 8.5" male Festae for $300.00. Like twhittle, I didn't want to sell but with a ridiculously stupid offer like that how can I refuse? I can get 6-8 males for what he gave me.

I had the same thing happen with a pair of Geo. brasilienisis. Couldn't say no to $300 when I picked them up at $5.99.

As usual Ruck Fules awesome fish. Now that is a pair to be proud of how much you get for the pair? I am guessing a good 250-300.

Thanks, They were both 13" when I sold them and I would say atleast 3 years old.
