About 34" now in a 1400gal indoor pond

Beautiful guy! question.. is that an intex pool? or what type do you use? ive been looking at them but im worried the spines might puncture the lining? or is it inground? debateing on building with cinder blocks.. or going with a pool.

Thanks and yes it's an intex pool 12' only had one puncture I think it was from our marble cat I just keep a patch kit on hand
