Man ricers and fancy pant cars no love for the old muscle except the two camaros?

Cheaper to buy and do up JDM than It is to buy and do up muscle.

I'd love to do up a 60's mustang, camaro or challenger...but your looking at like 100k+ to do it proper.

Cars are kinda like fish to me. Don't want what everyone else has. Plenty of old and new USA muscle running around.

I wasn't speaking for the rest of the people who posted....just commented on the 'fancy pants' comment that was most likely thrown my way. I agree there are a lot of Japanese cars listed= with gas prices the way they are and the avg age of the people posting, it doesnt surprise me.

I don't Lotus qualifies as "ricer" anyway :headbang2 Been working on a Lotus/Caterham Seven build with my dad for years now, so far we have plans and a build-table... lol

There are many different flavors of delicious cars! For American muscle, I go to watch Friday Night Drags at my local race track during the summers. Personally, I get my thrills from chucking cars into curves, and that'd just be suicidal in proper older muscle cars. If my household had an unlimited income, I'd probably have an early 70's 'Cuda in my garage.

"ricers" are so light and handle so much better, who wouldnt love a 69 anything, But who has that kind of money to drive a car 20 times a year.throw a turbo kit on any tuner and your gonna smoke almost any car on the street

^these... I'm all about P/W ratio, getting light, low, and stiff; picking the right line.

By no means are "ricers" cheaper to build right. Remember, I said built "right".
There is no replacement for displacement.
It's so much harder and more expensive to get reliable power out of a 4 banger. Anyone can throw a turbo on and make good power, but for how long?
When people say muscle, we talking 60/70's? Because I can grab a fox body stang, build it to hit 10's and still be in it less than I am into my motor alone of my Subaru.

Making 575awhp and 540tq for a couple years without issue . Boosting 30 psi isn't for everyone.

You know on the qm say u have 2 cars one is what u are calling a ricer the other is muscle.... Say thwy both do 10 flat.... The ricer will have a higher top speed then the muscle because its lighter and harder to hook up. Jus sayin.... And a ricer in my mind is like somone who takes a stock honda, throws a bumper or a wing on it and a cold air intake then tries to race everybody.... Maybe an exhaust.... But when your switcjing engines and front ends, gear ratios and stuff.... Thats a whole nother ball game.... Jus my thoughts. I had a camaro n now i have a honda and my honda would spank the maro anyday

I think my text got blown out of proportion. I just wanted to see more muscle and thought (small thought) maybe more people would have some muscle (broad). I never said ricers were bad. Some are horrid but so are some muscle cars its all an opinion. Ricers to me is any Asian car that has been modified.... and to an earlier comment I would classify lotus as a fancy pants car again not a negative term just a name but I wasn't just referring to you as fancy pants. No need for what is better and what not.
