They should drop a V6 in it and bump the HP 50-100
Those cost too much. Then it'd just be another Hyundai Genesis or Mustang V6. .

How do you figure? A Hyundai Genesis cost $35,200-$47,400 and a BRZ cost $25,495lol what? They have the same price range as the FRS/BRZ. I do think they should've turbo'd it but there is lots of room for mods and room to put a turbo.
Just to add a bid of Toyota nerdage to this topic...there is only 2 versions. Scion fr-s and the Subaru BRZ. The Toyota GT86 is just what they call the car over seas. The 86 is an throwback corolla reference (The AE86) which some consider to be the original drift car. Toyota knows where it came from and constantly reminds other what makes it so great. The AE86 was light weight, small on power and rear wheel drive. So it the FR-S. It was originally supposed to be turbo, but the cost would have been way to high so from concept to real world the turbo was dropped. It does had direct injection which means you could theoretically run decent boost without meth injection, but in my experience the piston rings are a Achilles heel. They have a thickness similar to a razor blade and do tend to fail under boost. I work on them every day and I refuse to drive one for reasons other that test drives being a mechanic. If I ever took one down a twisty road I would be a scion owner and a single father...lol what? They have the same price range as the FRS/BRZ. I think it should've been subarus AWD then I would want it more. I don't need another summer RWD in Canada I want an AWD!! but for the places with only summers its pretty decent
Those really do seem like nice cars, but seem just a little short on HP
