Yes they did, I always wondered about those, did they just paint it the same color, or was there any performance added.

Thanks chef, too bad Ford didn't add any performance, they should've at least put some torq thrust wheels on it, ....or did they?
 
My last one was a 98 cobra, put a lot into it, got it into the low 10's in the qtr.got into a bit of trouble with it, had to sell it.only had 19, 000 miles when I sold it , no more fast cars for me.

From I've read it was kind of a step up from the GT with a 4.6 liter 315hp v8 engine and a few goodies from the GT500.They also made a Bullitt in 2001.

Problem is GTs need a BIG step up to compete! That was my little Ford jab :)
