Yep,and I'd love to have an SRT8 but it's pretty much a waste of money with me living in the city with stop signs and red lights at each corner.
I wish I could afford a v8, but that still doesn't mean the v6 is any less of a muscle car. And to be fair, the 6 cylinder has come in a camaro since the 1st generation in the 60s. It's nothing new. It's obviously less powerful than a v8, but no less respectable

+1 zoo helping my cousin in law build a "demon", that's what he calls it at least lol. Its a body from a 69 mustang, polished restored and painted burnt orange, we just finished that and we are going to start building the engine. When he said V6 I was wondering why he wouldn't go with an 8 and he explained the same, you can get just as much if not more power from a 6 with the right options
I'm not well versed on engine talk so I didn't understand half of what he said lol. I could take apart and put back together basic boat engines but that's it haha

So much hate for 6 cyl cars around here haha you guys do realize that modern 6's are more powerful than big v8s of old times? 93 mustang 5.0 either 225 or 235hp. 2012 mustang v6 is rated at 305... and is rated at 30mpg on highway. Also beats the 93 cobra by .8 sec to 60 and in the 1/4th mile. Point being have fun with your high performance v8s while you can. In a few years a turbo4 will likely outperform any of todays big motors.
