Nice Terrier tbh never heard of that breed but that's pretty cool knowing the breed has been around since the 18th century.
I also had never heard of a Patterdale Terrier either, cool looking guy.

But agreed it's pretty crazy how long many breeds have been around. My Spanish Hound goes back to 13-14th century, which is nothing compared Alaskan Malamutes (about 1,000 BC) let alone Akita Inu and Afghan Hounds (~6,000 B.C.).

Of course Arowana, Arapaima, Bichir, etc. (150-400 million years) be chuckling and saying, "Yeah, that's cute."

Patterdales being on the rare breed list are uncommon to say the least, but as far as the dog goes it's a beefed up Jack Russell that was bred to drag its quarry out of holes. Also does not help that he thinks hes in trouble when I take a picture.20191217_154618.jpg
