My fave rod (pictured), over all my other rods in my casting locker.
bought a Abu 1500c, for it to, old school, but to be honest it can throw a Siglet further and more accurate than my steez or revo stx.
the stx sits on a Loomis CBR803DF nowadays.

These are the only pics.

Have an old 1500c Drew it will cast 1/12 further than anything even a Pixy. Cant even cast 1/12 with an stx lol

Here are mine. USA made Penns. From left to right; 712z, 550ss, 550ss, 704z and 706z. I like these reels because they are built like tanks. They take the toughest saltwater fishing conditions one can throw at them. Unfortunately Penn no longer makes any of these reels nor do they even make reels in the USA anymore. :( However, it is relatively easy to find parts for them and they are easy to work on if needed. I love my Penns!

So, lets see em guys...

The Penn Torque is made in the usa

Theyre great little overheads, its just the backplay in the handle, I've busted off a fair few toga striking. It has a very steep learning curve.
they work incredibly well with a fast actioned, softer rod.
The stx's spool dosn't accellerate as quick.
Believe it or not, my little 1500 took on a 65cm Wuruma Barra lol

my fav rod/reel for the surf and river.. nothing stands a chance.

13ft CUI and Penn 4/0 loaded with 40lb mono.
