If you get babies i want on the list to get one!!!

Any idea where i could track some down??

Well i have a couple of people that could track some down but it is really difficult for them to do it. the thing is You have to atleast order 6 or more for most people to get to go through the work. You have to remember when these people are going out catching fish for people to have in there aquariums when they do find cacellians they just toss them back in. So they have to get in contact with the person to keep them. And there not exactly cheap either. :irked:

If i get this back up and running though i am gonna try and simulate there natural environment. I know that they have a pretty long cycle to give birth. So when i finally have babiesi will be really excited. I neeed to try to get ahold of some more though to keep the genetic pool diverse when it does happen.

What kind of price are we talking??

second thought, pm me so we dont hijack this thread

I see those on kingsnake every now and then. Try contacting Ben Seigal or DTS Herp, I know they've had them in the past.

Wrong kind of cacellian worm. Your thinking of the terestrial kind. Cool but not exciting at all. They live underground there whole life and never come out. It is literally like owning a ball of dirt. Because that is what they do, they sleep, breath, LIVE in the dirt. These that i have are actually Potomotyphlus kaupii which spend there time completely under water. When people look up "Cacellian worm" the see the species Typhlonectes natans on google. Cacellian worm is just another vague name that cover about 6 species. Why do i have Potomotyphlus kaupii and not Typhlonectes natans you ask? As they are a endangered species that are illegal to import or export out of there country. So you have to find ones that came into the country before the ban happened (which is nearly impossible because they werent popular so they werent breed). So what is the difference between the 2 species you ask? Well ill show you, its pretty easy.

You can see the pretty pink the Kaupii has. Pretty easy to see the difference.
