Thanks! I keep it in all my tanks. It's that added peace of mind knowing it helps the water in a big way. It is a weed.

I've never been able to keep water lettuce alive for some reason. Last time I tried it did well for a bit and shot off some runners/plantlets but they just stayed small and eventually all died. I had a grow light over them, so I assumed that'd be good but no. What kind of lights do you use?

I've had the same issue with water lettuce, water parameters are excellent and I use a 4 bulb t5 with 10000k bulbs. Mostly I think my fish are destroying it when I'm not watching

Use dwarf water lettuce. It holds up under aquarium lighting. Regular water lettuce didn't work for me either.

I use all LED.
