Let's See your wolf fish, big or small

My Hoplias malabaricus. I got him at 6'' last November. In three months, he grew to 8.5''. These are older pics, now he has filled in even more, maybe it's not a "him" but a "her".

yes you can see how filled out he is.. he is truly a good looking fish..

could someone give me some extra info on the wolf fish... what are its tankmates..how fast do they grow... what do they eat.. what do they cost about.... i really want one... thanks

They cost, around these here parts, ca 50 USD...mine eat silversides, mussels and feeders ( once a week )..I can't keep mine with anything ( except a pleco with the H Malabaricus). So it is one divided tank per 2 wolves...they are, imo, the meanest mothers you can have in a a tank ( I am not snakehead knowledgeable )...they are fantastic feeding, not exactly exciting when not feeding..having said this I love wolves.

Thank you for that info.. i want to order one soon.. but i would like to find out about the different types too so i know what to ask for.. yours are beautiful.. i just like the looks of these monsters..i wish i could get a snakehead but illegal here..but the wolf is awesome too..thanks again.. if u think of anything else please let me know..
