hey, great fish, everyone! really impressive...i've got a birchir that's about 6" and have had him for about 5 months now, but he doesn't seem to be growing any...i was wondering just how slow do these fish grow? what does everyone else feed theirs? just looking for a few pointers =] appreciate any i get~

I picked up an 11" male lapradei from a very cool MFKer, Julian270 
I traded my true parrot cichlid (H. psittacus) and a juvie ornate, and he gave me his male and female laps, 11" each.
Here is the male, only been in the tank a couple minutes in these pics, so his color isn't back yet:
