Since all the Poly Pro's are here and thinking time is short .... HELP - I need suggestions.

This morning my Ornate is acting like he can't submerge without a lot of struggling.

I am currently treating the 210 gallon tank for a mild case of ick.

THE ONLY THING DIFFERENT: i Started that 2 days ago - my Severum got a little - probably from some goldfish feeders.

All the wood and rock has been removed and the UV is now on 24/7.

I am using a treatment (I forget what it is called - got it from one of the better LFS in the area - it is what they use)
It is real strong stuff - so I have been using it real sparingly.

The clown loach's, ghost knife, and peacock eels were removed before treatment.

I also did about a 50 to 60 percent water change before I started treatment and hooked up an air supply to the power head to assist in moving the water more.

The ONLY thing I can think is that the Ornate may have got too much air in him ... the power head pumped a ton of air into the water in very small bubbles.

ANY IDEA'S?

Is he doomed??

The 2 Senegal's and the Rope fish in the same tank are fine with no effect at all.

Thanks in advance!!

I saw one very dark ornate over the last few days and I post some pix here for experts to comment. I am not sure why this ornate is so dark compared all the others I have seen. It was so dark I thought it was a weeksii until I took a good look at it.

Can anyone advice? The ornate is about 11" and very active. I post some pix here for viewing as well as comparison with my 14" normal ornate.
