Okay, first off, no pics yet, sorry. I am waiting to move into my new house and the tank won't be in my hands until I'm there. Should be sometime during April, though, so I want to be ready.

The tank is 96" x 48" x 25".

Here are the fish that will absolutely be in the tank, as they need an upgrade from some of my other tanks, namely my 150g:

13" African Arowana, 10" Marbled Pim, 9" Florida Gar, 9" Black Arowana, 8" Fat Sleeper Goby (Dorm. Mac.) and four Bichirs (2x Delhezi, 1x Endli, 1x Ornate).

I've got a Sveni and Johanna Pike Cichlid, but I'm not sure if I will be moving them. I think my Silver Datnoids will be fine in the 150 for a while longer as well, since they are very slow growing.

---

So I've got some monsters-in-the-making, but I think I have room for a few more. I am open to all ideas. The tank will have a dark, thin layer of sand and some driftwood along the bottom.

I've never kept P-Bass before, so I'm considering them. I'd also like another gar or two.

Suggestions? Pics will begin after I move. :)

Go Saltwater :D

A fine suggestion, but my beloved freshies are going to kill me in my sleep if I don't give them this upgrade. :naughty:

definitely some pbass for sure in that tank :D. cant wait to see pics

peacock bass, clown knives, redtail catfish, ethopian lungfish, wolffish, armutus, tiger shovel nose catfish, motoro sting ray those just a few monsters that would be nice

I would go with say 8-10 pbass, 15-20 dats, some rays...go JDM or go home! ;)

Seriously, I would definitely add some bass, and a ray. I like the pike idea, but you'er gonna want something more surface oriented I think...more gar is always an option. I worry about some of those fish combined with gar, but with 4' of width you hopefully won't have any problems.

I don't need to upgrade my pikes. I think they'll actually be happier in the 150g since they're pretty territorial and hate my Sleeper Goby. They won't miss him.

I love the idea of a ray, but how do they fare with Bichirs? Any problems on the bottom between them?

P-Bass I have always loved the look of Temensis, but maybe I'll try a mix.

I'm not really into Armatus or any other silvery-looking fish. Just not my style.

Dats, Pbass, Arows and rays is all I would put in...
