Should have put this in the other post, but I didn't have the mindset to do so in my all out rage. I live in an area that's been taken over by gangs ever since they tore down the housing projects on Rosewood Drive. Gangs break into apartments and steal things for fun. So far, as far as I know, they stole my guns, and my computer. I've had my run ins with the gangs. I've caught them trying to break into my car, and they've tried to carjack me and I shot up their van. These dumbasses don't have enough sense to leave everyone the hell alone. If I'd been there, I'd have happily shot them. And yes, that's legal in South Carolina.

I'm moving.

I sympathise with you for your loss and have no liking for gangbangers myself.

Sucks man.I got broke into once and they took everything but my guns.I still haven't replaced my PS2.Good luck replacing your stuff.Hope nothing had sentimental value.

didn't you ever think to yourself that there is probably a reason why you pay such cheap rent for your place?
So let me try to understand here....you live in a really bad neighborhood, go a few hundred miles away for an extended period of time leaving guns and other valuables in your apartment, but with no further security?
How can you be surprised that you had a break-in?
To my mind it was totally predictable.

Still, sorry to hear about your latest " Josh's (mis)adventure of the week"

The problem isn't over trusting people, it's people that can't keep their hands off of other peoples stuff when it's locked behind a door with a huge lock on it.

It might be predictable but it's not like he left them sit on the sidewalk and walked away. I get what you are trying to say but it's a sad day when we have to say someone who went away for a few days and locked everything up, that it's predictable that his stuff would get stolen.

if you cant beat them join them........ gang bangin can be fun........ plus chicks dig gangstas........ I work in the heart of Inglewood Ca..... said to be one of the toughest inner cities in the nation........ i almost never get messed with....... perhaps you sending out the wrong message Josh........ with all you mishaps i'm sure you probably feel alot like a victim of society........ they can smell a wounded prey and that probably why your such a magnet for trouble......... life is about momentum...... you need to shift yours.........

oh and btw did you know that "most" home Burglaries are caused by someone you know and probably invited into your house a some point........

Hey josh u should buy a real gun safe u can gat 1 as big as a refridgerater:eek: for about a grand and u can bolt it to the wall or floor. If u get the big 1 u can put alot more than guns in there like computers and other valuables and no thugs:nilly: are smart enough to crack it that would take a pro to do that and:iagree: i agree with oddballer that sombody u no set u up dude.lol:grinno:

Sorry to hear about your house Josh and about you computer. :( Sadly, one of my friends houses was broken in to a couple months ago and they stole his PS2, XBOX, and GameCube along with a lot of financial records and trashed their house and it wasn't a bad neighborhood. It doesn't matter where you live, people should not be breaking into your house! I don't know how big your collection was, but I know some of my friends would have lost extremely valuable and dangerous weapons (antiques and an assault rifle) if there house was broken in to. Even though some things can be replaced, the pictures you lost sadly never will be. The only gun we own was my great grandfather's service revolver from the Spanish American war. A collector's piece, maybe, but it has a lot of sentimental value to our family. It is a shame people must steal becuase they do not have the work ethic or the morals to support their lifestyle. Good luck with the case and the insurance company (thank God for the NRA). Once again, I am sorry to hear about your loss and hope you can move so this doesn't happen again.
