I have decided to let go my arowanas. I got these two guys/gals for a long time. Love them. But, they are out growing my 6ft long, 2.5-3ft wide 100 gallon. 20 inches each. They are starting to develop minor drop eyes on one side because its crowed. Need someone to save them fast. I'm thinking of starting over. Pics is in the following link.

I just want to know if $295 a fair price for both of them? I'll use the money to upgrade to a bigger tank so this sort of thing will not happen again. :irked:
pm me if interested, in socal. I'll post in sell/trade section later. 1st glimpse, 1st dips for arowanas fans. :(

i'd rescue your pair but not for 300. larger aros are usually "hard" to get rid of just because not everyone can house them. i'd "save" them and they could live in my 400gal 2.5ft wide tank.

I doubt its developing DE because of "crowding". Silvers for some reason more prone to get DE than any other aro's. Go figure. Although there are a lot of debates of the causes, no one has real definitive cause for it. :irked:

right you are!

drop eyes cause is unknown, but it is not because of poor water quality from crowding i can assure you that. :)

please reconsider this, ive already done that twice, and this tiem im glued for life

tell me guy,

you have space for a bigger tank? if you do i think i can help you.

I'm listening...DeLgAdO. I have room for an upgrade but not for two 100 gallon tanks. Need to get rid of this one first. Whats on your mind?

No offense, but it look like a tub from google search engine. Polyethylene Tanks. I have a 1000 gallon pond outside but I think arowanas deserve a better life. Plus, arowanas look better from the side than from the top. The money for an upgrade. So how much is a fair price? The reason why i post it here first. Thanks guys...and DeLgAdO.
