I have decided to let go my arowanas. I got these two guys/gals for a long time. Love them. But, they are out growing my 6ft long, 2.5-3ft wide 100 gallon. 20 inches each. They are starting to develop minor drop eyes on one side because its crowed. Need someone to save them fast. I'm thinking of starting over. Pics is in the following link.

I just want to know if $295 a fair price for both of them? I'll use the money to upgrade to a bigger tank so this sort of thing will not happen again. :irked:
pm me if interested, in socal. I'll post in sell/trade section later. 1st glimpse, 1st dips for arowanas fans. :(

wait a minute, wtf! what the height of the tank?

that sounds liek a 220(2.5 width)- 270 (3ft width) gallon! :WHOA:

ok ok, just officially measured it...in inches. ~ 63 long, 24 high, 14 wide. Prrety sure its a crowed 100 gallon. I bought it at a fish store, they priced it as a 100 gallon.

duh, I was trying to get that message across from the beginning. ASAP. "an" overcrowing 90gal tank you mean...and "crowded" 100gal I meant all along. No way its 90. I ordered a 100. Its an "~" = (approximate) measurment late at night. Just look at the back braking u-turn they have to make. They were outside, just that its winter and cold now.

I fully agree your tank is overcrowded. But I don't think it's causing dropeye, as I've seen it on baby aros too. Aros are the coolest fish I've ever kept, and I've had many, many different species over the last 3 decades. It's very easy to become attached to these creatures. It would break my heart to give up mine. It must be tough. Good luck. I hope they get good homes.
