  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
How about june bug's or grubs? WE did earth worms, NOT a good idea, they got sick. We had to melafix the next day, but wax worms they love (ice fishing bait) but only once in a while. Like a treat.

i have close to 40 tanganyikan cichlids and i feed them romaine lettuce and boiled spinach about twice a week, all my fish are still alive so i beleive its good ,specially for vegeterians

I feed my cichlids lettuce and spinich. THEY LOVE IT!
I just grab some greens from the Earthbound organic mix that I get at my grocery store give er a rinse and a quick pat dry

sorry, i have quite the sense of humour... why pat the lettuce dry before putting it in the water in your tank? hahahahahaha

had to point that one out :naughty:

i give all my tanks romaine weekly, peas frozen out of the bag, and zucchini cut in circles or sometimes i just cut the entire thing in four long strips and toss it in. no cooking involved with any of it.

my fish love it :)

i don't clip it, stick it, or hold it down... just let it float on the top of the tank and i never have anything to take out later... it's always all gone. my 210g gets about 4-6 leaves of lettuce at a time. nothin' cuter than watching the plecos swim upside down attached to the lettuce floating on the top of the tank LOL:headbang2

Yeah my mbuna that I used to have loved lettuce.

I feed mine a big leaf of romain lettuce once a week, I just crumple it in my hand a little then tie it to a rock of clip and they tear it apart .

I know...I know...I'm a bit :screwy: sometimes!

I've started using peas now too....they love it!

My mbunas kind of like lettuce and peas, but they don't go crazy like they do for flake. Anyone ever use a food processor to semi-liquify the veggies?

well that's kinda what you get when you buy frozen veges at the LFS
