Hi I'm new to snakeheads . I have seen this snake head through a local fish seller . I have a few questions , what species is it , is it truly Leusititc and does it have any significant value image.jpeg
 
Looks more xanthic there. But I'm no expert on snakeheads.

It's Channa Striata, commonly farmed for food in many countries so the oddball ones pop up in the pet trade from time to time

They look very cool but from what i understand they dont have much value at all since they are farmed for food in Asian countries

Value really depends where you are and on the abailability ! They get fairly large would require a solo tank , if you like the look , the price is right and you wanna dedicate very large tank to itthego for it , all channa are fascinating to keep!
