levamisole worms help asap!

I ordered both. Prob get the fen first. Would it be a bad idea to treat with the lev after i do the fen treatment

If you can get the fish to eat the fen for the full treatment period, then do that one only.

Got the het in qt and did a fin level wc on the main tank amd removed all the sand. I left a few peices of dw in.

Nothing left to do but wait for the meds to arrive.

The het doesnt look to good the vent is getting worse and he was twitching. I really hope i can contain this thing from the other fish in that tank

Thinking about the filters... are the worms in there too...probably right. Please dont tell me i have to sanitize them !

Should i keep them off for a few hours after i treat to ensure i vac out all the worms ?

Since no one else is showing signs is there a chance the other fish havent contracted it ? Im still gonna treat anyway

Frank, I would strongly recommend using the dosage posted on LOL, some species of fish do not do well with higher dosage rates of Levamisole. See my comment below found in past discussion.

I dont have to sterilize the filter media right.

1.5 grams for the 150 gal...gonna have to eyeball the dosage for the 20 gal qt

Nope, just treat the water as directed in the links provided and the worms and their eggs will be killed.

Ok just to make sure im dosing correctly im dosing 1.5 gram lev -= 1.5 1/4 teaspoons after 24 hrs large wc then wait 2 to 3 weeks and repeat. 150 gal tank

If for no other reason besides peace of mind can i do the Fenbendazole treatmemt first then the lev ?

Fen will be here tomorrow
