just taken delivery of my new 180! only trouble is it isnt level... its running about a quarter inch from back to front (leaning forward). Other than the obvious water level is it going to make any difference safety wise? thankyou :)

I was going to do that. I even had the shims made up... BUT where I thought the stand had a row of 4 feet on the front and a row of 4 on the back, it actually has a whole bunch of feet. in other words if I shim the front, the weight will only be on the front and back feet. the rest of the feet would be doing nothing. I dont know if this matters or not.

I guess ill have to try and slide some long thin bits of wood under. wont be easy on some of them tho! lol why is nothing ever easy?!?!?

There are other shims much stronger than wood shims. We used these under our stand.

I have proper aluminium discs for the front feet. I was only thinking long thin wood as theres no way ill be able to get my hand underneath to fit them. id have used steel wedges if the access was good. although a bamboo cane mat be able to push the wedges in with a little patience.

Shims under the stand and then foam insulation under the tank.

Sent from the black hole that is my world.

think it'll be shims then. tank is sat on 3/4inch of polystyrene, came with the setup
