levelling 400 gal steel stand

And its done, top on.

Just need to insulate bottom then board bottom too.

And drill top for the weir.

I've measured it now with wood on and is still a bit off front to back!

Is this a reasonable margin or will it cause issues, any first hand experience? My current tank is a similar 'off' level, but not sure whether to rely on that lol

The tank doesn't have to be level, but it has to be flat. The level part is just a matter of how the water looks in the tank. To a point, being off-level is no big deal. Just make sure it's flat.

Brilliant cheers mate have put my mind at ease.

If that's the case I may have a play around with it again after bolting stand together as was probably pretty much okay to begin with before all the wooden shims lol
 
Not to create doubt OP. Was the tank really off level to a point all the shims are needed? I've personally not done that so just asking out of curiosity.
