Just a heads up.....

Jans Tropical Fish in San Gabriel is going out of business.

I was able to score:

4 used 40 gallon glass tanks -$10 each
4 used 20 gallon glass tanks- $5 each
4 used 250 watt heaters-$5 each
Lava Rock $3 a piece
2 Magnum HOT Filters $15 each
Air Pumps $5 each

I got two complete set-up, gravel included for less than $100. Not to mention two extra tanks. SCORE!!!!

They only have a few fish left but they have lots of 20 and 40 gallon tanks, some lights, not many filters. Everything is dirt cheap.

Keep in mind that you will need to buy some razor blades to clean the tanks up for show but you can't beat the prices.

Don't wait.....

damn i need another filter. can you give me their info.

I don't know when it started but I can tell you that they sold 2 150 gallon tanks for $70 each.

They have a 240 gallon reef with all lights, stand, skimmer, wet/dry, chiller, EVERYTHING for about a grand.

I am going back for plastic plants, more rocks, and some filter media.

Wow!

Don't worry about me, they are moving stuff quick. I walked in as they sold a used Fluval 403 for $35.00.

They are giving me a section of their tank racks. My fishroom is gonna be legit.

i did get a 25' python for FIVE BUCKS SUCKAS!!!!

Since you're saving so much dough, toss a few handfuls of bio media into a box and mail it to me- just enough to fill my penguin 330! :D

I'll get right on that.

All the money I save will have to go towards my electricity bill. This fish-keeping crap is expensive. :irked:

just checked out the sale...lots of stuff gone. 20 gallons used for $6 each. all fish 50% off...peacock cichlids for $6 each. lots of community fish for $1 each. no more power filters. lots of accessories though all 50% off. sale ends this friday oct 31 when their lease ends. check it out!
