LFS Going out of Biz SoCal

I also went there- the place is pretty much cleaned out because the guy said the sale has been going on for 1 month.

The 20 gallon used tanks have a blue painted back and a lid, no holes are drilled into them. They are selling the bigger tanks for $12 (I think they are 40 longs or 55's) but you got to wait until they're clear of fish.

They also had a new wet/dry filter with overflow box and media for $175. It was probably a 30 gallon sump but wasn't interested at that price.

Man, why didn't I see this thread sooner? Did anybody know what happened to the GG there? I liked that store, good fish there. That's where I got my fire eel. I went there yesterday, they took off the "Jan's" and they said it would be re-opened in a month. It looked cleared out, I wonder what happened? I liked that store.

There are a few tanks left but at one point, they said everything had to go. I returned a few days later and they stopped selling and another person bought the store. Jan's has another location in Montclair but this one will remain open.

He was mad at the world and to top it off, they took him out of my 150 gallon and shoved him into a 40 gallon. Poor guy.

Wow, sorry to hear they are going out of business. They had a really clean store and great looking displays of coral.
