Can you get more pics? My first impression was small pbb to be honest.

If wc laps are rare in your area, I would buy it.

A lap in good shape as this one will grow to be a beautiful bichir if cared for properly.

My first thoughts were pbb too-I wouldn't be too hasty in writing that one off.
Either way if the OP wants a big lower jaw and likes it then let him buy it.
 
I don't think I'm going to buy this fish. I don't even know what a pbb is haha. $80 is a big chunk of change that I'm not sure I want to spend unless I really know what I'm spending it on. My friend at the petstore is still trying to argue that it's an Endli... even after I showed him pictures of laps.

A pbb is one of the hardest bichirs to find. If you can get more pics, we can tell you if it is or not and if it actually is, $80 is a really good deal

Great! That'd be amazing if he was. I'll try to get better pictures on Monday. I'm really short and this guy's tank is up above my head haha. It's going to be a challenge.
