These are not pure jag I can tell that much but it also very likely they are red devil x jag as the owner says they are. When two species hybridize the fry can vary dramatically in how they look. A percentage of fry will look more like either parent with only slight variation and some fry may be or more even percentage carrying dominant traits from both parents and looking like 50/50 mix. These for example look 90-95% jag for the top one and 80% jag for the bottom imo. I don't think there is any reason to assume they aren't what they are said to be but then again many fish stores misidentify all the time though just the fact that an lfs would have multiple of a sizeable hybrid like this I think they would know what it is. Just remember hybrids aren't always going to look like both parents. The parentage is not always obvious. I bet many of the siblings of these hybrids look wildly different.
