Lfs in Illinois

They had tons of baby monsters. I don't know if I would make a super long trip without calling first. The owner was the nicest guy I have met in the biz. Everything they had looked like it was in good shape, but if you are not looking for dats, Africans, or rays, there isn't much in stock. The owner is one of the nicest guys I have ever met.Just dealing with him once, I would add him too my first call list. If you are looking for a place where you can walk in and get your fish, call ahead. If you want to deal with a place that really cares about the fish that they sell, go here.The owner was one of the most knowledgeable and helpful people I have met.
This is the kind of place I've been looking for not that many good Lfs in Illinois atleast close to bolingbrook

So no cool SA or CA cichlids? You ever been to Aquarium Adventure in Hoffman Estates? Pretty cool place.
I haven't been to Prime Aquatics in a while, but as I remember it was on the best LFS I have been too.

i hope to make a trip up there soon. ive been to aquarium adventure a few times before, they have nice tanks and setup, hit or miss on rare fish tho. ive seen 1 aro, 1 stingray, they have a pretty big rtc thats always there. but it seems like they just stock the usuals.
