Lfs in Manchester, uk

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I quite liked world of water - very hard waking away from the arowana they had in... plus the ray/bass tank they had was gorgeous :) also loved the sturgeon in the inside pond...

Went to the other timperley shop as well - they had one good fish - a sleeper goby. Loved seeing the snakes, lizards, parrots, rabbits etc, and am now the proud owner of a hamster lol (he's already escaped his inner cardboard box, so called him houdini)

Now back to Durham... ran out of time for Wigan, but will be back as need a trip to crewe and Lancashire characins once they move

Which aro the jardini ??? I want that too but cant house another and there's no way theyll live together in peace , The big Asian aro is called Harold he's been there 8 years really fussy eater :) its getting much better now they've started to upgrade fishroom and systems , did you see my artwork ?

I've nearly bought that sleeper goby in timperly but its pretty boring just sleeps lol , the big eight foot tank usually has decent stuff in but they decided to fill it with piranha

Wigan is a must though next time its quality and you will spend , if your going to Crewe check out rare aquatics its pricey but real good quality and decent selection , also there's a-z aquatics they have a decent range of fish and its not too bad on price but they won't budge on prices ( or at least when I've tried )

Glad you had a good trip to sunny Manchester anyway :)

Yup, the jardini was a beast - I understand why people will have them when they can't have tankmates easily now....
The Asian aro was gorgeous, as was that whole tank imo...
I spotted the art :) wish I could draw like that

The pirahna tank was better than the ones I've seen before - the tank at my lfs has a silver aro, two motoros, a tyre track eel, two Oscars and two rbps...

It was rare aquatics I had recommended to me, by the lancashire characins

Thanks glad you liked my work it looks miles better on the wall than posted in the art thread ;)
Jardini are a nightmare but I just love them so I don't mind the tank mate problem , its possible just have to be selective and perhaps loose a few nice fish trying :banghead:
Rare aquatics is good man I've been in a few times now the guys pretty helpful when speaking to him especially when I don't even buy anything :)
