Tomorrow I'm going to the city so I was wondering what are some good lfs's. I've been to oceans aquarium (which I liked) and lucky ocean aquarium (which I wasn't the biggest fan of). Specifically I am looking for a store with a good pleco selection. I've been mainly considering 6th avenue and hung Ming, but I'm open to all suggestions

Thanks

hung ming is tbe only store worth going to in the whole city imo, i think they had golden nuggets last time i went

Thanks I already got one of those though, I've heard that is pretty much the best, but I wanna go to 6th avenue because I've heard it's kind of an experience to go there

only good thing about 6th st is u get to catch your own fish. all the water is horrible and all 3 fish i bought from there died w/ in weeks

Ya I've heard that, I don't plan on buying any fish there unless I see an amazing deal, how is hung mings prices?

average, i havent been there in a couple months, great selection of driftwood too

BUMP

in the city right now, gonna go to the stores in a couple hours, anymore opinions

Sixth Ave is good in my opinion. There are a lot of rare/oddball fishes there. A lot of people say bad things about that store but it is okay in my book. You should check out the second floor. It is hard to find the stairs there.

Hung Ming in Daly City is good, oddball/rare fishes and a lot of cichlids.

Alright thanks and yeah I've heard that the second floor is the best.

I'm really hoping at least one has a good pleco selection because none of the stores around my house do.
