LFS selling 170G Good Deal or no?

I would take it but if it came with everything unergroundfilter, lights, hood and decorations etc. Just becareful with the resealant take your time to let it dry and put it on nicely. Cause it can look badly depending where it needs it. Remember that a tank that size is more pressure on the glass walls. It may reopen it again with all that pressure. But other than that its a good price for that size with the stand. Shoot I would take it. I wish I had that opportunity.

id watch craigalist and also tell theguy u want it watch see what happens but to reseal aint a big deal ...........that way all ur bases are cover if u find something better cool if not ...well u still got a 170.....lol

I've seen a lot of people make comments like this... how many of you have actually resealed a 150+ gal tank? I've resealed small tanks and it's a bit of a pain in the rear... doing so with 6' x 2' 1/2" thick sheets of glass would probably make it into a pretty difficult process...

I feel the OP has gotten a lot of useless speculative advice in this thread and useless speculative advice really lowers the overall quality of a forum...

it isn't that big of a deal, ... if you are willing to reseal, if you don't know what your getting into its a pretty big deal.
