nice lookin store. i am priveledged to live near some very very nice fish shops. i have worked at a few and will see if i can get in and take some pics. most of the time the owners frowned upon customers with cameras, but ill see what strings i can pull. and by the way whats wrong with people who smoke pot. why not just say you have to pass a urinary analysis test or something. i mean i know a college professor who gets blazed up every day. another buddy of mine just got his Ph.D in botany and he puffs tuff too. thanks for sharing Miles. you got a lot of pics to share with all of us, must have spent some tiome in there.

Did you miss the pic of the stingray? Ok .. well that was about it for monsters, and they have had it there since last time I visited them 6 months ago.. They had some super-fat clown loaches, and a few polypterus and blood parrots..

Majority of the tanks in town are held by college people and those who live in smaller, or older houses.. He said 95% of his customers have 5-45g planted tanks. You sell to the market, you don't market what can't sell...

Not saying anything against people who smoke pot, but they are notoriously lazy and un-reliable.. Who would you prefer to be giving you advice about the livelyhood of your pets, one who does or one who dosn't? Exactly.. I'm not saying it dosn't have anything to do with intelligence level either, but failure to appear at work could become an issue. Anyways, debate closed on that subject.

They had a lovely Apisto/Puffer section as well..

This was also the first time I had seen Viejas and Synspilum cichlids in PERSON available at a local fish store.

It was never all that impressive of a shop to me, until I realized how beneficial and how sophisticated the fully-planted set-ups are.. Not to mention all of the other small things they add in, that normal fishkeepers fail to realize..
 
man, would i love to visit that store with a wad of dough in my pocket..!!! appears to be an excellent run store from the photos..!!

thanks for sharing, rather enjoyed these pics. looking to setup an all planted tank with exotic plecos sometime in the near future.
