Depends on what you want and how much you want to spend. I know that Fish Gallery is really good and can provide a lot of good info and they usually have a really good stock with not only fresh and salt water fish, but a ton decor and food. One of my favorite things is they have a huge 1,000g bow font in there display tank room. They also have a little section where they keep the big fish. Last time I went they had a huge giraffe catfish, clown knife, and arowana. . Fish R Us is ok. It has a lot of rare things, but If I were you I wouldn't ask for advice from them. The couple times I've gone in there they've been pretty helpful, but I've heard other wise most of the time. If there was also a store you'd have to acclimate and treat your fish for parasites etc.., it'd be them. However they have a pretty good selection at decent prices maybe a little high, but definitely a place to go if you want to see some uncommon things. Those are really the only 2 I've been to in houston other than petco's and petsmarts.

Fish r us never heard of them. I went to Fish Gallery once real nice place the only place ive even been is Aquarium World the people are nice and they have aquarium layaway.
