In the winter it would cost a lot to do that. Thats why most people use heaters.

That's what I meant its not winter anymore here bc the house temp in the winter is around 68 to cold for my fishessss

I leave my lids on. I cant stand the humidity in the air when the lids are off. I live in a dry climate so humidity is horrible to me. Thats is one of the reason I like SA fish most can take the heat
