Texas cichlid is a term used for Herichthys cyanoguttatus. My guy is Herichthys carpintis.

These shots were taken with the standard 18-55 AF/IS lens and without flash.

Why am I the only one asking for full tank shots ?

There's a few around but here is the latest one to make it easy. Not quite a full tank shot but it features all the fish
