Those cichlids are amazingly adapted to ensuring fry survival.Any tank with males and females there will be fry.
Congrats on yours.
 
I went a year with no fry at all and then all of sudden, things started getting busy, because now I always have at least one mom holding and 2 or 3 micro fry darting around. Its my favorite thing seeing them poke out and grab food.

I can't imagine any way to get them out. Even if your empty the tank, they are just so fast its crazy.

Agreed. I think of it like a surgeon who is determining if a surgery is warranted: Does the "problem" outweigh the risk of the "procedure." In my case; turning my whole tank upside down and stressing out my fish for a few fry that I didn't plan on having? Nope. If they're strong and smart enough to survive, then let them, otherwise--it's just nature taking it's course. But of course I can't help but root for the little guy! :)
