light fixtures

Thanks a lot blue for posting a pic. I was looking through the thread color of stand vs color of tank or something like that and i really like your setup and how you placed the tank between the bookshelves looks real nice.
I'm on vacation all week so im gonna probably stop by home depot or something and check out what they have.
I like the t5 fixtures and all....but not too sure i wanna fork out that kinda cash just for lights.

That's how I see it. I mean for a tank with no plants it seems ridiculous to pay so much for lighting.
 
Not the greatest pic of the tank. This was right when I put it on without cleaning the tank or filter. I get a new toy and have to use it right away. lol.

I'll take a better one for you.

Cool stuff man that tank looks hella bright your labs must pop real nice. At least that what i think i saw in the pic. Might be a tad too bright for my peacocks though. I seriously wish i could take home like 5 different fixtures with various bulbs and try them all out then return the ones i don't like. I'm having a hard time making up my mind :irked:
