We have found silvers to be worse than the asians we have ... they are more skittish..take longer to settle in and get to trust you.
Takes a very long time before they accept strangers approaching the tank and they are MASTERS at sulking...
If he adds, moves, changes anything.. Dragon will sulk and sometimes not eat for up to three weeks!!
I saw my son close to tears many times when she was young.. now we just know the drill... she will eventually snap out of it
It does get better as they get older and they eventually do settle quite nicely although the sulking doesnt seem to go away
Asians are the same but settle quicker, bond with owner very closely and they dont mind people going close to the tank
When it comes to sulking, they also do it.. any changes or goings on in the tank that are not to their liking, they also sulk but usually snap out of it much quicker
Silvers or Asians.. are just magnificent fish and...@ Dr Seetharam... your efforts will be rewarded in time and she will bring you much joy and pleasure
