Beyond frustrated. 6 or 7th coralife aqualight power center failed again. Halides on and no fans or anything else. I don't know of anything else that I can use. Please suggest a quality product. I seriously dont want all of my wires to melt or house to burn down.

What is happening to the light timers? do they just stop working or do they turn the lights on and off at the wrong times?

these timers stop turning my halides off. It stops switching from daytime to nighttime cycles. SO halides run 24/7 if I don't catch it with no fans and nothing else.

Yeah like timers that you can use for christmas lights and things like that

Essentially yes, you can also get the power stripes that have timers built in. I have never heard of anyone having issues with timers burning up on them, the only issues I have ever had was because I didn't read instructions and incorrectly set something. Sometimes you have to swallow your pride and read the instructions.....haha.

the thing is that I do not want 3 separate bulky timers. With this power strip, I have 2 halides in the day time outlets, 2 in night time (these run opposite, moonlights and sump light). I also have 3 receptacles that run my fans and actinics. It would take a lot of little timers to account for all that flexibility. Thinking I may just have to start running a controller.

Tank controllers are great, I had a timer with enough outlets for all my lights that I got from home depot. It worked fine, I don't know what exactly your looking for though.

Im just looking for a timer that can control 3 different pairs of lights with different time schedules that is NOT Coralife.
