^ yeah and if it goes out you basically have an expensive ass powerstrip!!!!

Heres my confusion....over $30 for the coralife digital strip or $20 for this from my local hardware store...to me it looks the exact same and the functions are actually the same...i dont want to pay an extra 10 bucks to have yellow plastic and a fancy logo, its going to be in my stand anyway...i know the one picture is small but its the only one i could find...

I've got about eight of these and haven't had one fail in the past five years. They all came from thrift stores and cost around $3.00 each.

I've been using the $6-7 home depot ones that give you 'push buttons' for 15min intervals. Works great so far

I have a digital powerbar one, plus a few of the cheap mechanical ones. No reason to pay a lot for light timers.. if they fail, no biggy.

I have a few of these that are in the 10year range. My only problem with them is I lost the extra pegs to set more times. For the past 3 years I've been buying the $5 Brinks timers from walmart. No problems with any of them so far, I have about 10 of the brinks.

I use the analog coralife power center... Been working for 6 months. I really bought it out of convenience at my LFS when I was setting up a tank.
