It depends on what type of corals, anemonies, and clams you want to keep.
If you are thinking softies and LPS corals, the t5s should be fine.
If you are thinking derasa or squamosa clams, the t5s should be fine.
If you are thinking a bubble tip anemonie, you should be fine. I've seen a massive (for a bubble tip) anemonie thriving under a relatively small PC fixture.
If you are thinking SPS corals, I'd go with the halides.
If you are thinking maxima or crocea clams, go with the halides.
If you are thinking a carpet or magnificent anemonie, definitely go with the halides.
P.S. 150s are somewhat small for a 2' deep tank. You might want to go with 250s if you do go halides.
