I need an economical lighting solution for a 14g tank. It has the same footprint as a 10g i believe just taller. I am looking to keep low to moderate light plants so i don't need anything crazy. It currently has a walmart hood with 2 compact fluorescent bulbs. Will this work?

Pardon me... they are 15W incandescent "plant grow" lights...

Tank was given to me, not my fault lol

???

Well you have 2 watts of light per gallon. You said you wanted to do a low light tank and I would say you already have a low light fixture and bulbs. If you want you could change those bulbs out for 2 cfl 26 watt light bulbs.

So the hood that came with the tank should be fine?

Where can i find those bulbs?

At any store that sells light bulbs. Like walmart

Ok so it's not like a specific light spectrum or anything. Just household compact flourescent
