I was wanting to change my florescent light on my tank. I was wanting to upgrade from the soft white to the daylight. Do you think this is a good upgrade??? My reason for upgrading to the daylight would be to bring out the color more of my RD. I have been reading that better lighting helps with that. If anyone has better ideas please share them.

I use colormax and dayglo lamps, if you use just the colormax it will look red but together they look amazing. Whet I first bought this set-up I went back to the lfs after 20 minutes to get one for my other tank.. Look on-line at either pet solutions or that pet place one of them sent me a catalog that had pictures of the same tank with about 6 different style lamps. If you can find this, pick the lamp which best fits your taste and compare the spectrums to your soft white and daylight.
