I'm buying new bulbs for my dual fixture pc lighting. I don't have live plants so that's not a concern and i don't want to promote algae growth so....what two bulbs should i get?

I prefer 5500K, it's the closest to natural sunlight.

Algae growth will happen no matter the color temp, to limit the growth of algae, look to your NPK levels and your photo period. If you keep those in check, the Kelvin rating of your bulb will not matter.

I really like the way 50/50's look over my tank.

Since the reds in my fish look great and so does the green of the plastic and live plants.
