Lighting for dovii tank.

Marine White is the best IMO. They make your water look crystal clear and really bring out the natural colours of your fish. I think for a dovii you should have both, marine white for the blues and powerglo for the purple.

I only use powerglo strips on all my tanks. Nice clean light IMO.

i use 3 power glo bulbs and 1 blue.

i'm gonna get my hands on some, sometime and put them on my 120.

1 Aqua Glo

I'll post my pics again. A comparison photo. The first pic is with 2 daylight bulbs (cheap ones from lowes), the rest are with one daylight bulb and one powerglo bulb. I think it speaks for itself. I just want to see him with two powerglo bulbs

2x Arcadia marine white on mine howy aswell as a 2x moonlight blue tubes.
All are T5. An you seen the pics of mine mate. Its what you feed them on aswell mate.

Helios need their own fixture, the bulbs are a tiny bit shorter than a true 48".
You can't put Hagen bulbs in, either.
