lighting for flowerhorn

yeah me and my friend were deciding whether or not to order from somethingphishy. Is it true that the fish come in sick and have bad quality? i hear the site is a scam and ****, cause the prices for a flowerhorn there are extremely cheap. like its 10 dollars for a red dragon at 3 inches, while at aqua craze its like 50-90 bucks. What food do u use? i use hikari cichlid gold as a staple, freeze dried blood worms, and shrimp pellets. i was thinking of buying some chingmix sp100 head booster and chingmix sp100 maxima and stuff. Do you think that if i buy those it will make a difference?
 
My buddy didn't get sick fish but they grew out ugly. IMO. He wasted more time then me growing them out, now he's starting over with aquacraze fader rd. just friendly advice. Perhaps check Craigslist if any locals have a deal on some.shrug

oh ok cool. but i mean not every flowerhorn is good quality. Maybe he just got unlucky and got a bad batch. So, does chingmix help at all? or is my current diet of hikari pellets and stuff enough?
