I was thinking that as well. Can i use acrylic to cover the two opening top or you think glass top better. Not bow as easy as acrylic?

you can use acrylic, but really it depends upon the thickness in either case. given the choice i would prefer acrylic ive broken my fair share of glass tops.
a normal light shouldnt weaken the plastic.
