I have a 210 gal standard measurements and after initial set up I decided to lightly plant with java fern and java moss. My marine land led's do not seem to be enough. Last night I purchased a zoo med 48" t5 ho set up. I don't want to add co2 or ferts and I also have an algae scrubber in the 75 gallon sump. All plants are attached to wood about 15" from surface. What light bulbs would anyone recommend, 6700k-10000k? Also this fixture allows to run one bulb at a time if needed. Lastly how long would I need to run this fixture a day?

There is a Sticky thread about lighting if you haven't read that already..

6700k and 10000k refer to color temperature and the difference is nominal if you aren't adding fertz or co2.

I personally have always mixed the "plant" bulb and "daylight" bulb

Zoo Med T-5 HO Flora Sun Max Plant Growth Fluorescent Bulb - 5,500k bulb
Zoo Med T-5 HO Ultra Sun Super Daylight Fluorescent Bulb - 6,500k bulb
Zoo Med T-5 HO Ocean Sun 10,000K Fluorescent Bulb - 10,000k bulb

I also have the same fixture and I love it so far.

The choice is yours but I would get either the ultra sun / ocean sun and the flora sun

Agreed, depends on the color you desire
do you want moar yellow or moar blue
with the scrubber I'd think you can run 8-10hours easily
but let the algae be your guide

Thanks for the help, I went and got one each of the 6500k and 10000k. I did buy a timer and I set it for lights on at 11 am off at 6 pm. Then my led's come on for about another 4 hours. The algae scrubber in the sump has controlled the algae in the tank there is none, I'm wondering if it will take to much nutrients from the plants? What other plants attach to driftwood that would work in my aquarium?

A little Seachem EXCEL would help out ;)

Anubias does wonderful on driftwood in low tech low light

I have never used ferts is that a dry or liquid form? When you say a little is that weekly or? Thanks I will give some anubias a look.

Liquid, and easy to measure with cap-full size dosing directions.
